Anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, lymphatic, astringent, vulnerary, emmenagogue, cholagogue, antifungal
Suggested Traditional uses
Inflammation of the skin, uterine tonic, and acne. Soothes skin irritation and promotes healing. Gastric and duodenal ulcers, gall-bladder problems, menstruation, and painful periods
Directions and safety precautions
Infusion1-2 tsp of the herb in a cup of boiled water, steep for 10-15min. Drink three times per day
It can be applied externally in lotions, ointments, bruises, diaper rash, and burns.
Tincture 1-4ml 3x/day
