Diuretic, anti-inflammatory
Traditional Uses:
May be useful in acute and chronic cystitis and for bladder irritation. For disorders of urinary tract with formation of stones, edema, fluid in the heart. Also beneficial for gout and rheumatism. May assist in the supportive treatment of gonorrhea. May alleviate bedwetting in children and elder people as well as renal colic. Used as a diuretic and a harmless weight reducer. Commonly used by overweight people. Hay flower is externally applied as a hot compress to treat arthritis.
Directions to use:
Infusion:Â Pour 1 cup of hot water over 2-3 teaspoons of herb. Infuse for 10-15min. Strain and drink three times per day.
