Appetite stimulant, dyspepsia, bitter tonic, antiseptic, and antibiotic
Traditional Uses:
Mainly used as a digestive tonic. Used for treating anorexia, poor appetite (associated with depression), indigestion, flatulence, and excess mucus. Improves the supply of breast milk in nursing mothers. May be used as supportive treatment in internal cancers, diabetes, gout, and rheumatism.
Directions to use:
Infusion:Â 2-3 teaspoons of herb placed in 1 cup of boiling water. Let infuse for 10-15min. Strain and drink two to three times per day.
Safety precautions:
Do not use if pregnant or lactating. Consult with a medical practitioner before use.
