Description

Assists in the management of Non-Insulin-Dependent Diabetes Mellitus (NIDDM) as a single or adjuvant to oral anti-diabetic drugs. Glucostop Tablets increase the peripheral use of glucose, exert an insulin-like action and possess anti-oxidant properties that protect the pancreas. This product contains, among other natural ingredients, Gymnema syvestre. Its principal constituent is gymnemic acid which has anti-diabetic properties. The plant is believed to neutralise excessive sugar present in the body, and has also been shown to have a regenerative effect on pancreatic cells.
