Ambra grisea relieves pressure on the front part of the head with tearing pains in the brain, nosebleeds (epistaxis), cardiac palpitations, and a feeling of constriction of the chest.
Arnica montana relieves sharp, pinching pains in the head, hotness of the head, and mental confusion. Arsenicum iodatum treats vertigo associated with trembling, especially in the aged. Ferrum phosphoricum has an anti-congestive effect and relieves soreness when the head is touched, ill effects of the sun’s heat, throbbing sensation in the head, and aversion to cold, noise, and jarring.

Kalium phosphoricum acts on the nervous system to relieve occipital headaches and vertigo caused by overwork and worry. Strychnos nux-vomica relieves occipital, frontal, and congestive headaches, especially headaches associated with overwork, substance abuse or chronic incorrect eating patterns.
Pulsatilla vulgaris relieves nervous mental states that manifest in frontal and supra-orbital headaches and headaches from overwork. Sanguinaria canadensis has a regulatory effect on the blood vessels to the head to prevent both dilation and spasm. It treats menopausal headaches and flashes of heat with headaches that start in the occiput, spread over the head, and settle over the eyes.
Sepia officinalis relieves portal venous congestion that leads to head pain with nausea and a sensitive feeling in the scalp. Veratrum viride has an anti-congestive effect on the circulatory system and reduces blood pressure. It relieves associated symptoms of a hot head, dilated pupils, double vision, throbbing arteries in the head, and convulsive twitching of facial muscles.
